Donald Kirby, Senior Pastor

Born and raised in Orangeburg, SC, God pursued Donald through a loving grandmother and invited Donald into a relationship with Him at a Billy Graham Crusade. Several years later, Donald left SC to pursue degrees at Piedmont Baptist College (now Carolina University) and Dallas Theological Seminary where he met the greatest relationship of his life, Nicole. Not only is Nicole an essential partner in Donald’s ministry but also, she is a loving wife and sacrificial mom to their four daughters—Claire, Lillian, Genevieve, and Amelia. After marrying Nicole in 2005, Nicole and Donald moved to Ohio where he pastored at North Hills Baptist and eventually moved to Oklahoma. As God has led the Kirby’s to Lawton, they are very excited about being on a journey with the Calvary family sharing their stories with others about the message of Jesus Christ.

Jeremy Toombs, Worship Pastor

Jeremy is a native son of Lawton and has been serving as Calvary’s Worship Pastor since 2020. He came to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus at a young age, and he was called to ministry while in High School. A lifelong learner and avid reader, Jeremy loves to read and learn. He obtained a Bachelor of Music from Cameron University and a Master of Arts in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. God has given Jeremy a passion for music and worship and the Word of God. If you ask him his purpose in life, he will quote the catechism and say, “to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.” Jeremy hopes that you will come and worship the Lord with us!
